The wait is over! Diversified Restaurant Group, one of Taco Bell’s largest and fastest-growing franchisees, is opening its first Taco Bell Cantina in the heart of Downtown LA. The grand opening celebration kicks off on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 6pm to 9pm at 801 West 7th Street.
This grand opening is a significant milestone for Diversified Restaurant Group, the leader in the Taco Bell Cantina space. With eight other iconic Cantinas, including the flagship on the Las Vegas Strip and the famous Pacifica Cantina on the beach, the group continues to blend community character with Taco Bell’s vibrant spirit.
Exclusive Goodies and a Musical Guest Appearance
Prepare for a night of fun and excitement as guests are treated to exclusive Taco Bell branded t-shirts and a special guest appearance by Ian Shelton, lead singer of Militarie Gun. Honoring LA’s Rich Music Culture
LA’s music roots run deep, from rock ‘n’ roll to hip hop and pop. Taco Bell’s history in LA dates back to Glen Bell’s first location in Downey, California in 1962. A Venue Like No Other
The new LA Cantina exudes an electric atmosphere with vibrant stained glass, rustic brick walls, vintage concert posters, and two massive 12′ x 6′ LED panels featuring music videos by Taco Bell’s Feed the Beat artists. This program has supported over 1,900 artists and bands in connecting with fans. The spacious venue is perfect for social gatherings and large groups looking to cool off with some freezes after exploring the surrounding attractions.
Delicious Eats and Drinks
Guests can indulge in all their favorite Taco Bell classics, from tacos and burritos to quesadillas. The Cantina’s elevated bar features the signature “Bottoms Up Beer” system, mixed drinks, and a variety of freeze flavors, which can be spiked with your favorite booze for a refreshing twist. The restaurant will be open daily from 7am to 3am, with a custom mobile pickup cubby and a walk-up ordering window for quick and easy takeout.
