The weekly food festival is coming back to Downtown LA this July.
Smorgasburg LA took to Instagram last week to announce the return of the weekly foodie event. While not 100% plant-based, there are plenty of vegan and vegan-friendly vendors to order grub from. Keep reading for the full rundown!
The Largest Open-Air Food Market in America
Smorgas—what? For those of you unfamiliar with Smorgasburg, it’s a weekly food festival in New York and Los Angeles that is recognized as the largest open-air food market in America. The LA-based event first launched five years ago at the ROW DTLA, where it has been taking place ever since. Last March, the long-running shindig had to be canceled due to coronavirus-related government restrictions. Many vendors had to put their services on hold, find new formats to safely get their food to Angelenos, or pursue a new business entirely.
The Reopening of Smorgasburg LA

The reopening of Smorgasburg is set for Sunday, July 4th and while the vendor list has yet to be announced, we know of a few vegan and vegan-friendly businesses that will be there to celebrate the return.
