With two new groundbreaking products, Lypid offers a taste sensation you’ll want to try.

Lypid Pork Belly is launching in the US with two B2B flagship products—Lypid Smoked Pork Belly and Lypid Braised Pork Belly. The plant-based pork belly’s fatty and meaty textures make it the ideal ingredient for a multitude of dishes, ranging from traditional favorites to innovative creations.

Lypid, a pioneering force behind sustainable agriculture, eco-conscious technologies, and delectable plant-based foods, is making waves in the culinary world with the introduction of Lypid Pork Belly. This juicy plant-based meat is made with fibrous plant protein and the proprietary PhytoFat. Taste Triumph at Plant-Based World Expo 2023

Lypid Pork Belly made a spectacular debut at the Plant-Based World Expo 2023, held in NYC September 7-8. The highlight of the event was Lypid’s victory at “The Plant Base’s Taste Challenge” in the meat category, clinching the coveted first place. Judges and attendees marveled at the company’s ability to seamlessly infuse diverse culinary traditions into one tantalizing experience.

At the expo, Lypid showcased two flagship products that have been creating a buzz in the culinary world:

  • Smoked Pork Belly on Pizza: An Italian Sensation: Lypid collaborated with Yangming Spring, a renowned Michelin Green Star restaurant, to create a plant-based smoked pork belly pizza. The pizza featured Lypid Smoked Pork Belly with vegan toppings on a classic hand-tossed Italian crust.
  • Braised Pork Belly on Noodles: An Asian Fusion Delight: Lypid presented an exquisite plant-based braised pork belly noodle dish that encapsulated the essence of Asian cuisine. The dish featured Lypid’s soon-to-be-released shelf-stable retail product, a harmonious marriage of tender braised pork belly and savory scallion flavor sun-dried noodles.

PhytoFat and Beyond

Dr. Michelle Lee, Lypid’s co-founder and CTO, discussed “The Next Generation of Protein” during a panel session at the expo. She emphasized the creation of a lip-smacking pork belly experience through the fusion of technology and culinary artistry, highlighting the company’s revolutionary plant-based fat, PhytoFat.
