The month-long campaign offers exclusive rewards at local restaurants to inspire Angelenos to make climate-conscious dining choices throughout November.

Dashboard.Earth, a pioneering app dedicated to rewarding Los Angeles residents for climate-conscious actions, has launched its first-ever Plant-Based Dining Month. Partnering with the Plant-Based Treaty and local restaurants, this November campaign encourages Angelenos to support the planet by choosing plant-based meals at celebrated spots like Crossroads Kitchen, Pura Vita, Kusaki, Beewali’s, and The Vegan Joint.

Gayatri Roshan, founder and CEO of Dashboard.Earth, said, “At Dashboard.Earth, we believe that small, everyday actions—like choosing a plant-based meal—contribute to significant, collective impact. With Plant-Based Dining Month, we’re thrilled to align with the vibrant culinary community in Los Angeles, offering Angelenos delicious ways to engage in climate action while being rewarded for their efforts.”

Big Impact, One Meal at a Time

The campaign underscores how plant-based dining can benefit the environment. According to the United Nations, eating exclusively plant-based can lower individual annual emissions by up to 2.1 tons, while eating less than 1.7 ounces of meat per day has the potential to reduce emissions equivalent to removing eight million cars from the road each year.

Samantha Lau, a Los Angeles-based campaigner for the Plant Based Treaty, said, “Dashboard.Earth is such a great app to help users take action and to be more mindful of our daily consumption habits. A simple tool to remind ourselves that we have the power to be more sustainable, especially with what we choose to eat 3 times per day!”

Roshan added, “This campaign is about creating a win-win—supporting local businesses committed to sustainable practices while rewarding Angelenos who make conscious, climate-friendly choices. We aim to demonstrate that impactful change doesn’t have to feel like a sacrifice; it can be delicious and exciting, too.”
