Ojai Pub will host its grand reopening this week with a new concept that is sure to please both locals and visitors. Guided by the expertise of esteemed restaurateur Tony Yanow, the culinary talent of Chef Jayson Holzworth, and the leadership of General Manager Maria Romero, the revitalized establishment aims to reclaim its status as a beloved pub in Ojai. With a focus on delivering top-notch food and beverages at surprisingly affordable prices, the revamped Ojai Pub is set to provide a memorable experience for all.
House-Made Vegan Sausages
At Ojai Pub, you’ll enjoy meticulously crafted sausages, all made in-house and served with fresh toppings and gourmet sauces. Indulge in options like the Turkish Impossible, Italian Seitan, and Apple + Sage sausages. Each plate is available at just $11 and comes complete with all the fixings.
Chef Holzworth expressed his enthusiasm for making the sausages in-house, emphasizing the joy of having complete control over every aspect, from flavor to freshness. Coming from his previous roles as Chef de Cuisine and Farmhouse Chef at the upscale Ojai Valley Inn, he is excited to infuse his expertise into the relaxed and affordable environment of Ojai Pub.

Craft Beers from California Breweries
The pub’s bar will showcase an expertly curated selection of local wines, specialty cocktails, and an array of craft beers with a focus on California breweries. Embracing Yanow’s commitment to supporting local businesses, Ojai Pub will feature offerings from esteemed breweries such as Russian River, MadeWest, Topa Topa, and Firestone Walker. Yanow, known for his Los Angeles hospitality concepts like Golden Road Brewing, Mohawk Bend, Tony’s Darts Away, and Broxton Brewery, has consistently built establishments with distinctive charm and a strong sense of community.
Leading the beer experience at Ojai Pub is General Manager Maria Romero, whose previous roles at Greater Purpose Brewing in Santa Cruz and Hollister Brewing in Santa Barbara have shaped their expertise in the field.
Ojai Pub’s Soft Launch
Ojai Pub has already commenced its soft launch, inviting guests to enjoy the dining room from 4pm onward, Tuesday through Saturday. Soon, the pub plans to introduce convenient delivery options so you can enjoy the dishes at home. Additionally, packaged sausages will also be available for take-out.
