Vegan deli and catering company Chive Kitchen adds wine club to its list of offerings.

Located in Metro Detroit, Chive Kitchen is known for its memorable vegan catering offerings, gorgeous private events, coursed dinners, vibrant happy hours, and grab-and-go deli offerings like salads, side dishes, and desserts. Chive is owned by Chef Suzy Silvestre, and dishes reflect her unique cooking style, which blends notes from Portuguese and Western Europe with flavors from California. Beyond delicious food offerings, the plant-based company has recently added a vegan wine subscription to its list of services—introducing Michigan’s first-ever vegan wine club.

Vegan Wine

Chive Kitchen’s new vegan wine club showcases vegan wine from small producers and family-owned estates curated by Chive’s beverage director, Matthew Shur. Wine club members will have the opportunity to try a variety of unique vegan wines that aren’t found in traditional grocery stores. The selection includes table-ready wines at accessible prices and encompasses classic red, white, and sparkling choices, along with more eclectic vino such as orange wine, Greek rosé, and dry-farmed Australian pét nat. Members can expect five hand-picked vegan wines four times a year, along with suggested meal pairings, expertly paired snacks created by Chef Suzy, a discount on all of Chive Kitchen events, and an invitation to a members-only wine tasting.

“I love bringing in wines our guests may not be familiar with, because that allows us to offer others a taste of something new and exciting—a sense of adventure and discovery,” shared Shur, Chive’s beverage director.

Chive Kitchen’s New Vegan Wine Club

ICYMI, not all wines are vegan-friendly. Wine is often clarified with ingredients like gelatin, isinglass (fish gelatin), egg whites, and casein. Due to Chive’s connections to small wineries and distributors, all wine club options are clarified with vegan ingredients, producing a more vibrant wine and allowing the true flavors to shine through. Take away the extra research and guessing game when it comes to wine purchases, and let Chive Kitchen’s new vegan wine club bring new and fun vegan wines to your table each quarter. The wine club membership is $125 every three months, with quarterly pick-ups. To learn more about the wine club, check out Chive Kitchen’s website.

Chive Kitchen is located at 33043 Grand River Ave, Farmington, MI 48336. The deli and catering business remains open from 12-7pm Tuesday through Saturday and offers a daily deli menu with an ample selection of grab-and-go items.
