Lightlife Foods Debuts National Television Commercial
The popular faux meat brand is stepping it up!
Did you ever think you’d see the day that a commercial for vegan meat aired on national television? We always knew that day was coming (and thanks for paving the way, Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods!), and we’re so excited that it’s here. Today, Lightlife Foods debuts their national television campaign, “Simple Ingredients for a Full Life,” which will air across a variety of television and social channels.
Lightlife’s Commitment to Eating Clean
Lightlife is debuting two 30-second spots, aptly named “Thrive” and “Inside.” Both are voiced by Awkwafina and set against the backdrop of gorgeous nature scenes featuring abundant plant life. The two spots highlight Lightlife’s commitment to eating clean, living well, and keeping things simple.
This campaign comes after a year-long transformation in which Lightlife cleaned up the ingredients used in their products. As a carbon-neutral company, Lightlife is committed to delivering tasty plant-based foods with cleaner, recognizable ingredients, easy-to-understand nutritional claims, and a transparent production process.
The Way Plant-Based Food Should Be
“Plants only need some water, soil, sun, and a little fresh air to thrive … we’re not all that different,” Awkwafina states in the “Thrive” commercial as the camera pans across a forest teeming with plant life. The spot continues with Lightlife’s commitment to making products made from simple ingredients to promote a full life … “the way plant-based food should be.”
“People don’t usually want to know what’s actually in a hot dog,” Awkwafina states in the “Inside” spot, going on to share “well, here’s what’s in ours: plants!” The spot goes on to highlight the brand’s commitment to bringing clean, simple, and delicious products to the masses. Their products use no synthetic or artificial ingredients and are free from GMOs.
Vegan Meat Alternatives
Lightlife makes vegan meat alternatives for every palette, from chicken and hot dogs to deli slices and tempeh bacon. Their products can be found at many major retailers, as well as online through Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, and Amazon.
