The food stall opens August 13 inside XMarket Food Hall.
Get ready, Chicago! Impossible Foods is taking its plant-based revolution to the next level with the grand opening of its first-ever in-person dining concept, Impossible Quality Meats. Starting August 13, 2024, this exciting pop-up in Uptown Chicago will serve up a mouthwatering array of indulgent dishes featuring Impossible’s award-winning plant-based beef, chicken, and pork.
Classic Comfort Foods, Reinvented
Located inside the bustling XMarket Food Hall, Impossible Quality Meats promises to deliver all your favorite comfort foods with a plant-based twist. From breakfast to dinner, diners can dive into craveable classics like the Impossible Breakfast Sausage Sandwich, Impossible Nachos, and the fan-favorite Impossible Burger. Each dish is crafted to satisfy even the most discerning meat lovers—because choosing plant-based should never mean compromising on taste.
A New Chapter for Impossible Foods
This pop-up marks a significant step in Impossible Foods’ journey, furthering its mission to make plant-based eating accessible and delicious for everyone.
Peter McGuinness, president and CEO of Impossible Foods, said, “Impossible began as a foodservice brand, launching our flagship beef product in 2016 with some of the best restaurants in America. It’s been a natural evolution for us to create our own branded dining experience to showcase our delicious food. With Impossible Quality Meats, we wanted to offer diners a fun way to experience our food. From breakfast to lunch to dinner, we leaned into classic craveable dishes people love—like nachos, smash burgers and chili cheese dogs. Choosing meat from plants shouldn’t feel like a compromise. It’s great-tasting food, plain and simple.”
Join the Celebration
To kick off this exciting venture, Impossible Foods is throwing a grand opening party on Saturday, August 17, at XMarket Food Hall. Starting at 11am, attendees can enjoy free samples of Impossible Hot Dogs, Impossible Burgers, and Oatly Soft Serve—perfect for cooling off on a hot summer day. Don’t miss out on this delicious celebration of plant-based innovation!
