Pythagoras Vegan Restaurant Opens in Houston

After spending the last four years serving the Houston area as a vegan pop-up, Pythagoras Conscious Food Philosophy opened the doors to its first brick-and-mortar restaurant on January 18 of this year. The restaurant is currently in its soft-opening phase and is open Tuesday-Sunday at 14019 Parkway Blvd Suite 101, Sugar Land, Texas 77478, just 20 short minutes from Downtown Houston.

Pythagoras dubs itself as a “galactic” vegan restaurant, and the new space is decked out with aliens, UFOs, and a custom bartop made to look like a galaxy. Pythagoras serves up an eclectic menu, with options ranging from pizza, bone-in wings, and sandwiches to full Persian spreads and kabobs. Pythagoras also has a full bar and offers classic cocktails, a selection of vegan wines, local beer, and space-inspired house cocktails.

Vegan Persian Food in Houston

If you’re looking for vegan options in Houston, Pythagoras has something on the menu for everyone. The restaurant offers more than 20 pizza options, boasts a gluttonous dessert selection, and features appetizers ranging from a charcuterie board and loaded nachos to its iconic bone-in wings.

Pythagoras’ vegan wings are made with sugarcane sticks to mimic the bone and come with your choice of seven sauces. Gluten-free wings are also available, as are bacon-wrapped wings and fried cauliflower.

If you’re not in the mood for American food, Pythagoras also offers an extensive selection of Persian-inspired food, such as kabobs served with basmati rice, grilled veggies, and house-made butter. If you’re planning to check out Pythagoras with a group of friends, the Prince of Persia platter comes with all available kabob dishes, Shirazi salad, house-made pickled veggies, fries, house-made naan, and drinks for 4-6 people.
