Buzz on over to Honeybee Burger’s newest hive!
Serving up plant-based burgers, fries, milkshakes, and more, Honeybee Burger is opening a location in Venice this Earth Day. This marks the restaurant’s second brick-and-mortar location in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles-Based Vegan Burger Joint
Honeybee Burger first opened in Los Feliz in 2019 with a mission to help increase the popularity of plant-based food and to raise awareness of the impact we all have on the environment every time we make a food choice. Over the years, the Los Angeles-based vegan burger joint has tested out locations in Silver Lake, West LA, and Mid-City. Currently, Honeybee Burger operates solely out of its Mid-City location—but not for long.
Honeybee Burger Is Opening in Venice on Earth Day
Last week, Honeybee Burger announced a new location opening in Venice on Earth Day (Friday, April 22). It is replacing a former CAVA restaurant at 326 Lincoln Blvd, Venice, CA 90291. Positioned right down the street from a Whole Foods Market and just a mile away from Venice Beach, this new location will be popping in no time!
“We chose to open the Venice location on April 22, which is Earth Day, as it holds particular significance for Honeybee and our mission of sustainability and concern for the environment,” shared Adam Weiss, owner of Honeybee Burger.
Like its Mid-City location, Honeybee Burger’s Venice spot will feature the classic black and yellow color scheme with bright, buzzworthy decor. The dining room seats over 30 people, the parking lot is loaded with spots, and the menu features all of the classic Honeybee hits.
Vegan Milkshakes Made with Ripple’s Frozen Dessert Mix
But wait, there’s another exciting launch this Earth Day! Honeybee Burger will debut its iconic vegan milkshakes with Ripple’s frozen dessert mix. They’re the first quick-service restaurant to launch this product. “Ripple is soy-free, gluten-free, and non-GMO. The taste and texture are superior to any non-dairy ice cream that we’ve tried. We’re thrilled to be chosen as a launch partner by such a great company,” shared Weiss.
Honeybee Burger is set to open in Venice on Friday, April 22 at 12pm. It will be open 12-8pm during the first week of service. After that, the restaurant will be open 11am-10pm daily.
