Doja Cat Launches First Makeup Line (And It’s Vegan!)
Recreate the rapper’s most iconic looks with her newest makeup collection!
Doja Cat just launched her first vegan makeup line in partnership with Los Angeles-based vegan brand BH Cosmetics. The Grammy-nominated artist—who is well known for her music videos, social media presence, and bold and colorful makeup—drew inspiration for the line from her creative imagination as well as her most recent album, Planet Her, which was released earlier this year. The collection features all of the colors needed to mimic the rapper’s most iconic looks, and each item is priced between $9 and $36.
Having purchased her first-ever rainbow eye shadow palette from BH Cosmetics at the age of 14, the collaboration between Doja Cat and the vegan makeup brand was a no-brainer. After experimenting with makeup throughout her teen years, the rapper has since mastered the art of the smoky eye, and aims to give others the opportunity to express their creativity and personal artistry through makeup.
Doja Cat’s First Vegan Makeup Line
Doja Cat’s first vegan makeup line includes highly-pigmented eyeshadow palettes, a Metamorphosis vegan brush, multi-dimensional highlighters, plumping glosses, Goddess eyeliner, Flora powder blush, Prism loose powder, and Mirage balm. The eyeshadow palettes come in Mega (36 shades) and Elements (four shades) and combine metallic colors with earthy, natural hues.
Celebrities Making an Eco-Conscious Impact on the Beauty Industry
With the launch of her vegan makeup collection, Doja Cat joins the team of celebrities that are making an eco-conscious impact on the beauty industry. This August, rapper Iggy Azalea also collaborated with BH Cosmetics to launch her vegan makeup line—Totally Plastic—which is currently available at ULTA.
In addition, Ariana Grande plans to release her first makeup collection—r.e.m.—which is named after the singer’s 2018 single. The line is inspired by Grande’s personal style, and the initial launch will feature eyeliners and eye shadows to start.
