CoverGirl Launches 100% Vegan Skincare Line
Clean Fresh is now available online through Walmart, Ulta, Walgreens, and CVS.
CoverGirl is one of the most popular and easily accessible makeup brands in the world, and last week, they announced the expansion of the brand into skincare with the launch of their new 100% vegan skincare line called Clean Fresh.
CoverGirl’s New Clean Fresh Line
CoverGirl’s new Clean Fresh line has debuted with five products: Hydrating Cream Cleanser, Weightless Water Cream, Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer, Dry Skin Corrector, and Priming Glow Mist. The entire line is made with cactus water and hyaluronic acid for an extra hydration boost.
The Hydrating Cream Cleanser is good for all skin types and contains meadowfoam seed oil to condition and nourish the skin. The Weightless Water Cream is oil-free and can be worn alone or as a primer. The Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer is formulated for those with normal to oily skin, while the Dry Skin Corrector is made with jojoba and shea butter for those with normal to dry skin. Finally, the Priming Glow Mist is made with rosewater and vitamin C to help brighten and soothe all skin types.
The entire Clean Fresh line is available online through Walmart, Ulta, Walgreens, and CVS. Check your local retailers to see if they’re carrying the brand in-store.
CoverGirl Goes Cruelty-Free
Just over three years ago, CoverGirl announced they had been certified as cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny, making them the largest makeup brand to cease all animal testing. While the brand isn’t completely vegan, they have a makeup line (also called Clean Fresh) that is 100% vegan. The line consists of a nourishing foundation, cooling glow highlighter stick, cream blush, and lip tint. Look for the Clean Fresh makeup line at a variety of stores and through online retailers. Click the “buying options” on the product page to discover where you can find each product.
