Atlanta’s Yeah! Burger Reopens This Fall as a 100% Vegan Restaurant
The popular Atlanta burger joint is ditching the meat and going completely plant-based.
Yeah! Burger, one of Atlanta’s most beloved burger joints, has announced they’re reopening this fall as a fully vegan restaurant. The news comes after a year and a half hiatus—the restaurant closed down in April of 2020 to protect their staff from the emerging virus.
Yeah! Burger Goes Vegan
Yeah! Burger has been a favorite for boutique, grass-fed burgers (with veggie options) in Atlanta since its inception in 2010. Catering to a crowd filled with meat-lovers, gluten-intolerant customers, and vegans and vegetarians alike, the burger joint was always busy.
But this year, Yeah! Burger goes vegan! Being closed for the past year and a half allowed owners Erik Maier and Kelly Wallace to not only completely remodel the building but to reevaluate what the local clientele is looking for from the burger joint.
Recognizing that the plant-based market is currently one of the most profitable and most sustainable, the duo decided to make the switch. Sustainability has always been important to Yeah! Burger, so the switch was an easy choice to make.
Gluten-Free Vegan Food in Atlanta
Before Yeah! Burger closed down last year, many of their patrons frequented the restaurant due to their allergy-friendly kitchen. With countless gluten-free items, as well as a dedicated gluten-free fryer, Yeah! Burger offered some of the best gluten-free vegan food in Atlanta. And their dairy-free sauce options were a great option for those with milk allergies and vegans alike.
When Yeah! Burger reopens as a fully vegan restaurant this fall, they’ll still be extremely allergen-friendly, with plenty of soy-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free options on the menu. Even their gluten-free onion rings—a crowd favorite—will be back on the menu, veganized and better than ever.
Yeah! Burger will offer a Beyond Meat patty, an organic falafel patty, and a house-made organic veggie patty crafted from mushrooms, beets, and walnuts that customers can order on a dozen different burgers. If you’re not in the mood for a burger, you can find salads, bratwursts, and all-day breakfast on the menu. They’ve even perfected a house-made fried chicken that we can’t wait to try! Everything on the menu will be non-GMO, and a full selection of beverages will be offered, including beer and wine.
Yeah! Burger is located at 1168 Howell Mill Rd, Suite E, Atlanta, GA 30318. Give @yeahburger a follow on Instagram for updates on their grand opening!
