ANA is bringing vegan ramen to the skies, offering First and Business Class passengers a taste of Japan at 30,000 feet.
All Nippon Airways (ANA) is elevating in-flight dining with the introduction of its ANA Original Ramen, now available as a light meal option for First and Business Class passengers on international routes. Beginning March 1, travelers can enjoy two plant-based ramen flavors inspired by Japan’s culinary heritage.
A Taste of Japan, 30,000 Feet in the Air
ANA’s new ramen lineup features two distinct flavors, each crafted to bring the essence of regional Japanese cuisine to the skies. Departing from Japan, passengers can savor the Negi Miso Ramen, while flights departing from overseas will serve the Tonkotsu Style Ramen. Both options cater to passengers with dietary preferences by using plant-based ingredients, without compromising authentic flavor.
"ANA is dedicated to enhancing our passengers' in-flight experience, and our new ANA Original Ramen offerings reinforce our commitment to continue elevating our onboard dining choices," said Tomoji Ishii, Executive Vice President, Customer Experience Management and Planning of ANA. "These options offer a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine while accommodating various dietary needs of our customers".

ANA Original Ramen Varieties
- Negi Miso Ramen (flights departing Japan) – This bowl highlights Hokkaido’s signature miso with a rich vegetable broth, garlic, and ginger. Medium-thick, chewy noodles pair perfectly with the umami-packed broth, while green onions provide a fresh finishing touch.
- Tonkotsu Style Ramen (flights departing overseas) – Inspired by Fukuoka’s renowned tonkotsu ramen, this dish features a creamy sesame-based broth with extra-thin noodles, kikurage mushrooms, and red ginger. ANA’s Ma-Yu style flavored oil allows passengers to customize their bowl.
Where to Find ANA Original Ramen
Available on First and Business Class routes across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, ANA Original Ramen will be served on flights to and from major cities including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Singapore, and Sydney. Quantities are limited, so passengers are encouraged to order early.
