Just months shy of the one-year anniversary launch of its vegan chicken tenders, Beyond Meat announced a major retail expansion of the product to 8,000 new locations. You can now buy Beyond Chicken Tenders at Albertsons, CVS, Kroger, Sprouts, and Whole Foods across the country as early as this month.
Beyond Meat’s Vegan Chicken Tenders
The Beyond Chicken Tenders first launched in select restaurants in the summer of 2021. With a taste and texture that mimics traditional chicken, these faba bean-based vegan tenders were an immediate hit. Over the past several months, Beyond Meat has worked with major fast-food chains like Panda Express and KFC to offer the plant-based chicken to customers in the form of limited-edition menu items.
In September of 2021, Beyond Meat announced the retail debut
of its tenders in select Walmart, Jewel-Osco, Safeway Northern California, Harris Teeter, Giant Foods, and ShopRite locations. Frozen, pre-cooked, and ready to heat and eat in a few minutes, the retail version of Beyond Meat’s vegan chicken tenders are convenient to boot.
Beyond Chicken Tenders Are Rolling Out at Several New Stores
This month, the plant-based meat brand shared the news that Beyond Chicken Tenders are rolling out at several new stores including Albertsons, CVS, Kroger, Sprouts, and Whole Foods. This marks a big increase in the product’s accessibility, expanding to 8,000 new locations nationwide.
