Sugar Taco announces its new sister company, The Plant Butchers! This new plant-based shop will open in Long Beach later this year on the corner of Broadway and Maine. Stop by anytime from 10am-7pm, all week long. The new vegan butcher will be next door to the latest location of Sugar Taco!
The Plant Butchers Is Making Plant-Based Foods More Accessible Than Ever
Co-founder Brittany Littleton shared exciting details of her new vegan butcher shop. The Plant Butchers will offer a variety of vegan must-haves, including pantry staples and large assortments of deli meats and cheeses. They will also have ready-made sandwiches like their parmesan meatball sub, roast beef dip, and Littleton’s own famous tuna melt! The plant-based butcher is even ensuring a low-waste approach to vegan grocery shopping by featuring a small bulk grocery area for plastic-free cooking!
Long Beach’s First Vegan Butcher Shop
With the demand for more vegan options increasing in Long Beach, The Plant Butchers is making sure choices are available seven days a week. “My main focus has always been to make plant-based foods easily accessible. Many people want to eat more vegan food but struggle with what to cook. By offering familiar items they know and love in plant-based versions, this will make it easy for them to recreate their favorite meals.” Littleton shared.
The Plant Butchers plans to feature a wide variety of vegan staples. Indulge in their truffle mac ‘n’ cheese, bowls, and a selection of pasta sauces, like pesto and Alfredo. The plant-based eatery will be your one-stop shop for all your vegan cooking needs. “You can walk into The Plant Butchers and select your ingredients for dinner just like you would at a traditional butcher shop,” Littleton shared.
With the opening of The Plant Butchers, Sugar Taco also opens its third location right next door. After picking up some deli meats for dinner, don’t forget your refreshing agua fresca at the beloved vegan taco spot!
