PLUS body wash has launched at Target stores nationwide. The launch comes as part of Target Zero–a new initiative that highlights brands that are committing to zero waste and is the brand’s first-ever retail launch. PLUS products sold at Target retail stores will also be marked at an affordable price point in an effort to make sustainable choices available to all.
At the helm of the PLUS retail launch is Stephanie Shepherd, a celebrity environmental advocate and former Chief Operating Officer of Kardashian West Brands, who will serve as the brand’s first-ever Chief Impact Officer. In addition, Shepherd will lead external sustainability education and will oversee creative development, give-back initiatives, and partnerships on behalf of the brand.
Zero-Waste Body Wash and Climate Positivity
“Less waste, more magic” is the motto at PLUS, a company that specializes in zero-waste body wash and climate positivity. PLUS body wash sheets are packaged in dissolvable, wood pulp-based sachets sourced from responsibly managed FSC forests and dissolve down the drain instantly. The body wash is available in two scents–Citrus + Neroli and Coconut + Jasmine–and can be purchased as a travel pack or with a refillable dispenser to hang in the shower. Unscented body wash sheets are also available for those who are sensitive to fragrance.
The Target Zero Project
As part of the company’s Target Forward initiative, the Target Zero project aims to create products that are packaged in refillable, reusable, or compostable materials, such as paper, aluminum, steel, or glass. Each product is labeled with a Target Zero icon, so consumers can easily identify which items are a part of the brand’s sustainability movement.
