Vegan Sushi Rolls
Gone are the days of searching for plant-based sashimi, thanks to Ma-Kin Vegan Sushi. San Fernando Valley residents now have a local restaurant serving up vegan sushi rolls, sashimi, and many more traditional Japanese dishes with a plant-based touch. The menu offers a plethora of special rolls, including the Sexy Lady Roll, Rolls Royce Roll, and Red Dragon Roll, and yes, they taste as exotic as they sound! Their menu doesn’t end there, Ma-Kin also offers dishes such as Chicken & Beef Teriyaki, Orange Tofu, Shrimp Tempura, and Gyoza, to name a few. Sushi lovers will feel right at home with classic appetizers like garlic edamame, shishito peppers, and vegetable tempura.
Ma-Kin Vegan Sushi
Ma-Kin Vegan Sushi primarily uses organic and non-GMO ingredients. Ma-Kin is family-owned and operated by passionate plant-based locals that want to make vegan sushi accessible to the masses. Many menu items feature the plant-based salmon, Vegan Zeastar, which tastes nearly identical to its non-vegan counterpart. Additionally, they use plant-based shrimp, crab, and lobster in their menu offerings. Ma-Kin also features an array of sake, making it an excellent izakaya for a night out with friends and family.
You can find Ma-Kin Vegan Sushi at 30313 Canwood Street, Unit 35, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. The restaurant is currently open every day for lunch and dinner—reservations are recommended. For more information, visit makinvegan.com or follow @makinvegan on Instagram.
