The hotel chain introduces an allergy-friendly soft chocolate chip cookie in collaboration with Partake Foods, offering a more inclusive welcome to guests at all its hotels across the United States.

In a move to create a more inclusive and considerate hospitality experience, DoubleTree by Hilton announced a collaboration with Partake Foods, a leading allergy-friendly food company, to introduce a new allergy-friendly soft chocolate chip cookie to its “Signature Cookie Welcome.” Starting August 4, National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day, guests checking in at all DoubleTree by Hilton hotels across the United States will now have the choice of either the original DoubleTree chocolate chip cookie or the new allergy-friendly option.

Creating a More Inclusive Welcome

More than 32 million people in the United States suffer from food allergies, and many others have food intolerances or dietary preferences. With this in mind, DoubleTree by Hilton aims to cater to the diverse needs of its guests by offering an allergy-friendly alternative. The soft-baked allergy-friendly cookie is not only gluten-free and vegan but also free of the top nine allergens, including wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, eggs, soy, fish, sesame, and shellfish. Produced by Partake Foods in a dedicated top nine allergen-free facility, the cookie undergoes individual wrapping during production to ensure it remains free from cross-contamination before being presented to guests at check-in.

Matt Schuyler, Chief Brand Officer of Hilton, shared, “With DoubleTree by Hilton’s allergy-friendly cookie, we’re reshaping the concept of hospitality to be more inclusive and considerate. We’re serving not just a cookie but a promise of care and personalization for each guest who walks through our doors.”

Partnership with Partake Foods

Denise Woodard, founder and CEO of Partake Foods, shared her excitement about the collaboration, saying, “We are thrilled to work with an iconic brand like DoubleTree by Hilton to create a more inclusive welcome for their guests at check-in. As a parent of a child with food allergies, I know firsthand how limited offerings are for those with allergies and dietary restrictions when traveling. Everyone deserves to have a sense of assurance and comfort when they are away from home. Partake Foods is proud to extend our mission of inclusivity to DoubleTree by Hilton hotels across the United States.”
