Whether they’re more vocal about their plant-based diet or they keep to themselves, these celebrities have been living a vegan lifestyle and loving it.

Veganism is taking over Hollywood. With many celebrities moving toward a plant-based lifestyle, their fans have been inspired, in turn, to experiment with a vegan diet. From musicians, to actors, to entertainers, these six celebrities have been ecstatic about all of the great benefits they’ve received from their plant-based eating habits. They’ve also shared their favorite vegan eats too, so be sure to keep reading to see what Hollywood’s rich and famous are craving! Without further ado, here are six celebrities you didn’t know were vegan.

New to the vegan scene, Lizzo recently celebrated her 1-year veganniversary. Exploring new flavors of plants and plant-based alternatives, Lizzo shares her experiences living a vegan lifestyle on TikTok where she posts her vegan creations like Nature’s Cereal and “What I Eat in a Day” videos. Jhene Aiko

Not only is she known for her soul-healing R&B riffs, but Jhene Aiko is a long-time vegan as well. Reportedly dabbling in veganism initially as a way to improve her health, Aiko transitioned to a fully plant-based lifestyle and has loved reaping its benefits. Her favorite vegan recipe is a carrot and potato taco that she makes on Fuse’s YouTube channel. Be sure to check out the video and the recipe if you’re craving some spicy and savory Mexican food!

Alongside his Down to Earth docuseries on Netflix, Zac Efron has made some pretty major lifestyle changes, striving to help the environment and eat cleaner. Becoming vegan in 2018, Efron has been loving the results and how energetic he feels, citing veganism as the perfect complement to a rigorous workout routine. His vegan fix? Every morning he starts off the day with a “Spark Smoothie,” filled with avocado, spinach, raspberries, blueberries, banana, coconut water, almond milk, and chia seeds.

Aside from being the most iconic tennis player in the world, Serena Williams follows a strictly plant-based diet during competition season and the off-season. Influenced by her sister, Venus Williams, Serena adopted a vegan lifestyle after seeing its benefits. Some of her everyday eats include oats and strawberries, as well as brown rice with hemp and chia seeds.

Adopting veganism in 2014, Stevie Wonder now swears by a plant-based lifestyle. His change in diet even helps him in promoting environmental issues and being kind to the environment. Though he is rather low-key in revealing his daily eating habits, Wonder has definitely been vocal about how great he feels after transitioning!

As a seven-year-long dedicated vegan, Billie Eilish transitioned to a plant-based lifestyle after educating herself about the meat and dairy industries. Using her platform to raise awareness about issues of animal abuse, Eilish is at the forefront of vegan advocacy. Her favorite nationwide eats include LA’s Cafe Gratitude, NYC’s by CHLOE., and Miami’s Love Life Cafe.
