The Best Late-Night Vegan Restaurants in Los Angeles

Picture this: You’re hungry, it’s late, and there’s no spot open to feed your starving stomach.We’ve all been there and it’s no fun! To avoid piecing together the odds and ends of your leftovers, we’ve created a list of a few of the best places around town that are open late!



This plant-based pub keeps their doors open until 2am Tuesday through Saturday and until midnight Monday and Sunday. While food service ends at midnight, the drinks don’t stop! Happy hour is from 10pm to close on Thursday through Sunday. If you want a unique handheld meal, order the Chick-Phil-Apino Sandwich, a sunflower cutlet, greens, slaw, pickles, and sriracha aioli on a brioche sesame bun.To drink, try a cocktail like the Castaway Rum Punch with Plantation Overproof, Smith & Cross, Appleton Rum, Velvet Falernum, lemon, orgeat, pineapple, and orange.

Doomie’s Home Cookin’ / Next Mex


Late night grub is Doomie’s middle name! Pop by Doomie’s Home Cookin’ in Hollywood until 3am on Friday and Saturday, or midnight any other night of the week! Their next door neighbor at Next Mex, stays open until 1am Thursday through Sunday, and midnight Monday through Wednesday. Get your fix of fries, burgers, nachos, wings, mac ‘n’ cheese, you name it!

Munchies Diner

Santa Ana

This all-vegan diner doesn’t get its name for nothing! They are open until 2am on Friday and Saturday and 11pm all other days for you to fulfill your munchie needs! They dream up the wildest menu items like their Pizza Fries topped in diced Nodoh ‘Nozarella’ sticks, marinara sauce, melted provolone, and Follow Your Heart Parmesan!

Sage Vegan Bistro

Echo Park

If you’re out late looking for a big vegan menu and fresh brews, Sage Vegan Bistro in Echo Park is the perfect stop for you! They are open until midnight during the week, and stay open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday! All other Sage locations close daily at 11pm. Because anytime is a good time for Buffalo cauliflower!

Monty’s Good Burger


Monty’s Koreatown location is open until 1am Thursday through Saturday and 11pm all other days. Riverside closes at 11pm daily. Try any of their burgers, secret menu items, or milkshakes! Milkshakes are always better at night anyway!

Veggie Grill

Hollywood Location

For a night out on Sunset Blvd, Veggie Grill has your midnight snack covered! The Hollywood location is open until midnight everyday. You know what that means? Mondo Nachos every single night!!

Cocobella Creamery


At this vegan scoop shop, all your sweet, late-night desires can be made possible until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and until 11 p.m. the rest of the week! Try their Bella Bars, customizable Sammie’s, and if you need to pull an all nighter, get their oh-so-delicious coffee float with Stumptown nitro cold brew!

Purgatory Pizza


For some late night ‘za, hit up this vegan-friendly pizza spot in the heart of Downtown LA. Enjoy deep dish pizza, meatballs, lasagna, and calzones until midnight on Friday and Saturday, 11 p.m. all other nights! See you there!

Swingers Diner

Hollywood & Santa Monica

If you’re out a bit later than midnight, this famous LA joint has some great vegan options to fill you up! The Hollywood location is open until 4am every night except Tuesdays, when they close at 2am Santa Monica stays up until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 2 a.m. all other days. They’ve got Tofu Chilaquiles, Vegan Multi-Grain Banana Pancakes, Vegan Nachos, and more!

LA Cafe


If you are in need of 24-hour grub, LA Cafe is the place for you! With quite a few vegan options, like their Braised Mushroom Melt, Vegan Scrambler, or Chia Seed Bowl, there’s something delicious to get you through the rest of your night!
