Vaca’s Creamery is the first 100% vegan creamery to open in Chicago! Located in Wicker Park, they offer creamy oat milk-based soft serve with your choice of toppings (chocolate chips, gluten-free cookie crumbles, a chocolate shell, and more) and house-made cones! Whether you’re in the mood for a milkshake, a sundae, or a chocolate and vanilla swirl, they have it all. Top off your order with chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles, and a gluten-free cone. Be sure to arrive early—they do sell out.

Justice Cream is a Chicago-based, community-owned, dairy-free ice cream pop-up that donates profits from each flavor (including tres leches with strawberry, coffee with churros and chocolate ribbons, ube, and more) to social justice organizations in Chicago. Follow their social media for updates on the latest community event to snag a scoop!
Upton’s Breakroom serves nachos, burgers, and soft serve! The rotating flavors are seasonal, ranging from strawberry to vanilla to blueberry. Chain ice cream shop Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams serves several dairy-free flavors, including cold brew with coconut cream, Texas sheet cake, lemon bar, and caramel pecan sticky buns! Stop by one of their shops located nationwide, or have it delivered to your door by the pint. Pro tip: Their sugar cones and cake cones are vegan!
