Here are the winners for the best vegan brunch nationwide!
1. Sage Plant Based Bistro

Our first place winner is Sage Plant Based Bistro, which offers a fully vegan brunch menu featuring shareable plates like cauliflower “wings,” zucchini croquettes, and polenta tots. Diners can also choose from both savory and sweet brunch entrées, like wild blueberry pancakes, chia French toast, cornbread jalapeño pancakes, and tempeh sausage florentine. Drink options include mimosas (strawberry, orange, or hibiscus), basil mint mojitos, adult agua fresca (seasonal), house sangria, and Bloody Mollies—cheers!

In second place, we have Kale My Name, which offers a well-rounded brunch menu that features dishes like cauliflower wings & waffles (sweet waffles and savory fried cauliflower wings served with margarine, maple syrup, and buffalo sauce on the side), chocolate chickpea toast (two slices of sourdough toast, chocolate chickpea spread, banana, strawberries, chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, and whipped cream), jackfruit lox (everything bagel, cream cheese, tomato, red onion, jackfruit, and a sprinkle of kale with a side of rosemary potatoes), and classic bites like the breakfast burrito. 6. Nic’s On Beverly

Did someone say pizza for brunch? We’re in! Pair your brunch with a Valdobbiadene prosecco mimosa (try saying that three times fast!) or a Paloma apple cider.

8. Souley Vegan
Los Angeles, Oakland, & San Francisco, CA
A taste of Louisiana Creole flavor on the West Coast, Souley Vegan wins eighth place for best vegan brunch. This California-based vegan restaurant serves up unique brunch items like Creole nachos (tortilla chips, house-made vegan Creole cheeze, green onions, shredded lettuce, and diced tomato) and the Ain’t Gator Po’Boy (house-made seitan and mushrooms battered and dressed with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mustard, and savory Swamp Sauce served with seasoned fries). Add in a side of Louisiana black-eyed peas or beignets to complete your order.
9. Watercourse Foods
Denver, CO
The ninth place winner is Watercourse Foods, which offers a fully vegan brunch menu featuring dishes like stuffed French toast (Challah bread, cream cheese, and strawberry coulis), the Big Rig (country-fried seitan, scrambled tofu, Big Rig gravy, and spicy agave served with a choice of a biscuit or toast), and BBQ pulled jackfruit (jackfruit, pickles, and broccoli slaw on a kaiser roll).
