Things To Do
Los Angeles

The first Gelato Festival in Los Angeles will be happening on September 28th and 29th in West Hollywood at the Pacific Design Center, and vegan options will be available. The festival aims at sharing a definitive gelato experience in which attendees can taste fresh, artisan gelato, made on-site in the world’s biggest mobile frozen dessert lab.

Some of the vegan options include Mangonada—a mango sorbet with a swirl of chamoy sauce and splash of Tajin spices; Seamist—an herbal tea sorbetto of mint, lemongrass, and seaweed, with fresh mint leaves and lime; Cinderblock—a cold-pressed juice blend form with white grapes, aloe vera, lemon, and apples, spiked with activated charcoal; and Cardi P—a cardamom-infused white peach sorbetto.

Tickets are available here and include all the gelato you can eat in one day, along with access to participate in all festival activities including games, eating contests, and more. Plus, each guest can cast their vote for their favorite gelato flavor/chef who created it, with the winner continuing on toward the industry’s final stage at the Gelato Festival World Masters 2021.
