Stop by BESTIES from 6pm-10pm for a pop-up from @alchemyorganica for a taste of ancient Mesoamerican gastronomy.

 

Vegan Eats Friday Pop-up in Highland Park

Highland Park

Plant-based food trucks & pop-ups serving everything from fried chicken, tortas, and ice cream, take over York Street in Highland Park. Grab a shot of tequila from a nearby bar, follow your nose like Shaggy to the best-smelling vendor, and await your Scooby Snack.

SunCafe Cooking Class

Studio City

Learn how to prepare vegan dishes with weekly cooking classes Saturday mornings at SunCafe in Studio City. This week’s theme is “Meal Salads.” Participants will learn how to make tempeh Caesar, a taco salad with Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette, and a black-eyed peas, quinoa, grilled chard, and napa cabbage salad.

 

BESTIES Pop-Up

East Hollywood

From 12pm-4pm, this vegan grocery store will be hosting a pop-up of all-vegan everything from vendors @wordofmouthtruck, @frozenfruitco, and @thesalvivegan. Come ready to enjoy vegan comfort food, frozen desserts, and authentic Salvadoran food.

 

Green Saturday’s Halftoberfest

Hawthorne

This vegan event sponsored by Green Saturday LA will be celebrating Halftoberfest—a (halfway back to) Oktoberfest party! Food vendors will be offering special German and Oktoberfest-themed dishes, plus there’ll be beer, music, giveaways, and more! Admission is free, open to all ages, and dog friendly. Pop on by anytime between 12 and 5pm.

 

Saturday OC Vegan Village

Santa Ana

The OC Vegan Village will be hosting a village of vegan vendors, including @lobocubanbowls, @bakedvegansweets, @enjoying_earth, and lots more. Swing by between 12-6pm.

 

Inland Empire Vegan Festival

Rancho Cucamonga

From 12-7pm, drop by the IE for a fest of all-vegan vendors, live music, health panels, and more. General admission is free, but if want a few extra perks, grab their VIP Pass which includes early entry 11am-12pm and a swag bag with products from sponsors.

 

Los Angeles Vegan Hangout (Peace By Vegan X Salad Box)

West Covina

If you’re interested in going vegan or you just want another vegan meetup to go to, then head to this free event, where you’ll get to hear a talk and participate in a q&a, enjoy vegan food and live music, meet new people, and more.

The Little Green Kitchen Pop-Up

Brentwood

Vegan tacos, nachos, tostadas, and cheesecakes will be available at The Little Green Kitchen’s pop-up at Brentwood Village Farmers Market (9am-2pm). Enjoy 100% plant-based organic asada, carnitas, umami crumbles, and more in your meal, and don’t forget to grab their cashew cheesecake of the week too.

 

The Gentle Barn Tours

Santa Clarita

The Gentle Barn hosts public tours every Sunday between 10am-2pm. You’ll be able to hang out with the animals and see all the amazing work this nonprofit is doing. Bonus, Frankenstand is there every Sunday serving up delicious gourmet vegan franks. Tickets are $20/adult and $10/kid.

 

Plant Fest: Spring 2019 Edition

Irvine

Plant Fest at Tanaka Farms will be a festival of over 25+ vendors. Order vegan food, shop vegan products, and enjoy cooking demos, farm tours, carnival-style games, an arts and crafts station for kids, and more. Admission is $4 (children 2 years and under are free) and parking is free. Check out all that’s happening from 10am-4pm.

 

Vegan Eats at Smorgasburg LA

DTLA

Head to Smorgasburg LA from 10am-4pm to find some vegan noms. Vegan vendors include Cena Vegan, Senoreata, Madame Shugah, Donut Friend, plus more.

 

Kannabis Works Vegan Fair

Santa Ana

This family-friendly and free event from 11am-4pm will feature food, music, activities, and more. Vegan food vendors include Cena Vegan, Jade’s Vegan Sushi, and Hug Life, among others.
