Vegan Things to Do in L.A. This Weekend: January 24-26

We search the web for the best vegan things to do in the city, so you don’t have to. Here’s what’s happening this weekend.

Friday, January 24

dineL.A.

Multiple Locations

dineL.A. is in full swing! You have until January 31 to enjoy the exclusive (and seriously discounted) prie-fixe menus of vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants such as Mohawk Bend, Cafe Gratitude, Double Zero, Plant Food and Wine, and more. Check out the dineL.A. website for the full list of participating restaurants and menus.

Vegan Pop-Ups in Highland Park

Highland Park

Come for a cocktail at Block Party, stay for mouthwatering vegan street food vendors, and cap off the night with a midnight donut at Donut Friend. The party starts at 6pm and rages until 12am!

Saturday, January 25

Eclipse & Honeybee Burger Ice Cream Social

Loz Feliz

Eclipse, a new vegan ice cream company, is teaming up with Honeybee Burgers to give out free samples this Saturday. The event runs from 2:30-4pm, but arrive early before the sweet stuff runs out. Registration is free but required. RSVP on Eventbrite.

Cooking Class at SunCafe

Studio City

Perfect the homemade vegan cheese plate by following along with Chef Ron Russell. This week’s menu includes Fermented, Firm Paprika Cheddar, Sun-dried Tomato Ricotta, feta, brie, and nacho cheeses.

Benevolence: Perceptivity 2020

Your ticket to this enlightening event will include an immersive experience of sacred music, readings from a visionary artist, Ecstatic Dance, vegan hors d'oeuvres, and live paintings. A spiritual awakening is virtually guaranteed.

Urban Foodie Experience

Carson

Chinatown

This cookbook book shop and event space is hosting a bake sale to raise funds for the fire relief in Australia. Stop by and grab a vegan goody (or five)—it’s for a good cause! The sale runs from 11am-2pm or until sold out.
