Spring is here, and that means that the vegan festivals and events are gearing up for a successful season. Here’s your comprehensive guide to large vegan events and festivals happening this spring and summer.
Vegan Street Fair
Los Angeles, CA

The world’s biggest vegan festival is back this weekend after a two-year hiatus. All of the best vegan pop-ups, food trucks, and restaurants in Southern California show up for the event, as well as a stacked list of out-of-town vendors. With more than 200 vendors serving up everything from fresh-pressed juices and coffee to loaded burgers, nachos, and donuts, there’s something at Vegan Street Fair for everyone. In an effort to make the food more accessible to all, every vendor will have one item for just $4. In addition to the food options, there will be live entertainment and multiple DJ stages. Vegan Street Fair takes over Chandler Blvd in North Hollywood and runs from 11am-7pm on March 26 and 27. The event is free to attend, but you can skip the lines by purchasing a fast pass here.
Vegan Food & Wine Festival
Apopka, FL

The second annual Vegan Food & Wine Festival takes place this Saturday, March 26 from 11am-6pm at Kit Land Park. There will be more than 100 vendors serving up food, retail items, and local art, as well as a variety of live cooking demonstrations and guest speakers. The event is family- and dog-friendly and is free to attend.
Vegan Block Party
Fort Lauderdale, FL

Florida’s biggest vegan party returns to Huizenga Plaza on April 2 from 4-10pm. Hosted by vegan VIPs Dom Thompson, John Lewis, and Torre Washington, this event features more than 50 local and out-of-town vendors, a fully vegan bar, music and entertainment, and contests and giveaways. General Admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased here; kids 10 and under are free.
Vegandale Miami

Popular vegan festival Vegandale hits the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park in Miami on May 21 from 11am-7pm. This outdoor party will play host to more than 100 food and drink vendors from across the country, as well as several out-of-country favorites. There will be DJs, games, giveaways, and plenty of vegan merchandise to go around. Tickets can be purchased here; the early bird price of $10 is in effect until March 25.
Michigan VegFest
Detroit, MI
June 5, 2022
After a two-year hiatus, Michigan VegFest is back at a new venue on June 5. In an effort to hold the event in a mostly outdoor space, the event will be held in Detroit at Eastern Market. This is a free event and will feature more than 100 vendors offering everything from burgers and ice cream to packaged vegan foods and vegan-friendly retail items.
Vegandale Chicago
Chicago, IL

Vegandale’s next event takes place on June 11 from 11am-7pm at Grant Park in Downtown Chicago. Like the Miami event, Chicago Vegandale will offer more than 100 local, out-of-state, and out-of-country vendors. DJs will be hosting games and giveaways, there will be a vegan bar available for those over 21, and kids under 12 can attend for free. Early bird tickets can be purchased here for $10 until April 1.
Memphis Vegan Festival

The inaugural Memphis Vegan Festival drew a crowd of more than 6,000 people in 2021 and saw every single vendor sell out. This year, the event has moved inside to beat the heat and will be held in the Pipkin building from 11am-6pm on June 18. The event will feature a variety of vegan vendors and food trucks from all over the country, live entertainment, and a vegan marketplace highlighting local businesses. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here until May 1.
Vegan Vibez Summer Festival Houston

Vegan Vibez is consistently one of Houston’s best vegan events, and this summer’s event is set to be just as epic. This year, the event will be held on July 3 at the Raven Bar in Houston from 1-9pm and will feature skating, live music, several DJs, and plenty of vegan food. Tickets for the event will go on sale Monday, March 28.
