Plantopia

Whether you’re a vegan, flexitarian, or omnivore, Plantopia is a fun, welcoming destination for all to explore, sip, taste, and learn.

Are you looking for a place to try new vegan food, meet fellow plant-eaters, and enjoy time with friends and family? Then you’re in luck because America’s newest plant-based festival Plantopia is touring across the US this spring!

Family-Friendly Vegan Festival

Plantopia is a family-friendly immersive vegan festival created by Cannonball Productions. Unlike other food events, this plant-based utopia offers much more than delicious fare. Plantopia also hosts games, activities, live music, shopping, and culinary competitions.

“As the future of food is evolving, we created Plantopia to showcase the most innovative plant-based products. Gone are the days of the crunchy, granola stereotypes that come with plant-based lifestyles. We’re bringing the party to the green side,” shared Kate Levenstien, Founder & CEO of Cannonball Productions.

Plantopia Vegan Food and Drink Vendors

The lineup features local and national vegan food and drink vendors. A few honorable mentions include Forager Project, Outstanding Foods, Shimmerwood CBD, Neatly Spiked, PRESS Premium Alcohol Seltzer, and Owl’s Brew.

“Forager Project is excited to be a part of Plantopia’s inaugural tour,” said Stephen Williamson, Forager Project co-founder and CEO. “We’re full believers in Plantopia’s mission to give communities across the country a chance to see all that plant-based eating has to offer, and we can’t wait for attendees to experience new flavors, fun textures, and the possibilities from the fellow brands taking part. We’ll be sampling our Cashewmilk yogurt at the LA and NY events, and welcome everyone to come forage with us.”

All of the food sampling takes place at the Grand Tasting Village. Wash it all down with an alcoholic, non-alcoholic, or caffeinated beverage at the Drinkery. In between bites and sips, watch the competitions on the main stage, snap some pics in front of the photo ops, and dance to the live music or DJ tracks. If you have little ones, take them to the Kids Zone, complete with interactive games and activities. And just before you’re about to tap out, peruse vegan clothing, gifts, and more at the Eco-Marketplace.

Donating Plant-Based Food to Those in Need

As if you need any more convincing to attend Plantopia, wait until you hear this! The festival will donate a portion of its profits to underprivileged communities. In partnership with Forage Forward, the money goes to local and national plant-based nonprofits that focus on food education and donating plant-based meals to those in need.

Plantopia Tickets

Plantopia just announced their tour today, with events in major cities across the US. The festival debuts at Ingram Plaza in Downtown San Diego on Saturday, April 1. After that, Plantopia travels to Liberty State Park in Jersey City on April 22 (aka Earth Day). From there, the event pops up at The Lot at Plumber’s Union in Chicago on May 6. And the last city currently known to the public is Los Angeles on July 29. That being said, keep an eye out for more Plantopia tour announcements—there will be cities added along the way.

Choose one of four ticket options—Limited Access, General Access, Early Access, and Premier Access. We suggest Premier or Early Access tickets for early access to the event with expedited entry. But if you’re on a budget, you can buy Limited Access tickets for as low as $19. Children under 5 years old attend for free.
