Attention all Bay Area vegans! You’re going to want to put this one on your calendar. The second annual Bizerkeley Vegan Food Festival is happening July 3.

Vegan Food Festival in Berkeley

Erika Hazel, founder of The Bizerkeley Vegan, announced this week that the second annual Bizerkeley Food Festival will take place on July 3 from 11am-5pm at the Sports Basement in Berkeley at 2727 Milvia St., Berkeley, CA 94703.

The vegan festival will feature over 40 new and returning local vendors, live entertainment, education and wellness workshops, guest speakers, a Kidz Korner, and more. In addition, the festival will also be raising money for the Friends of Berkeley Animal Care Center, which will have its own station featuring a doggy kissing booth and a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds directly benefiting the organization.

The day will be MC’d by DJ Bite Size, and there will be free wine and hard kombucha tastings for those age 21 and over. Complimentary swag will be available to all attendees, and there will be several giveaways throughout the event.

Vendors at Berkeley Vegan Food Festival

The first Bizerkeley Food Festival attracted vendors from the Bay Area down to Los Angeles, and this year’s event promises a similar showing. Returning vendors include The Vegan Hood Chefs, Kube Nice Cream, Dr. Hops Hard Kombucha, Liquified Juicery, and Crunchy Mama Candle Co. A variety of cuisines will be featured, including Soul, Latinx, and Filipinx. The full list of vendors will be released closer to the event.

Several vendors will be giving away free samples, and food will be available for purchase starting at $5. Tickets for the event start at $15 and can be purchased here. Children 12 and under may attend the event for free.
