1. VegOut Best of LA Awards Party

Friday, March 1

A few months ago, we hosted some polls asking you guys what your favorite spots around Los Angeles were, from your top burger joints, pizza parlors, pop-ups, and more. Some hard decisions, couple of weeks, and thousands of results later, the winners had been decided! Come celebrate their victory, along with food, drinks, and good vibes at the VegOut Best of LA Awards Party from 8-11pm in DTLA!

 

2. Vegan District at The Pike Outlets

Saturday, March 2

Every first Saturday, The Vegan Village throws a block party of pop-ups & vendors at Long Beach’s iconic Pike Outlets. From 12-5pm, show up for wings, brownies, donuts, vegan Big Macs, and more!

 

3. LA Vegan Village at Besties

Saturday, March 2

Visit East Hollywood’s (or should we say Eat Hollywood’s?) first 100% plant-based grocery store this Saturday for vegan noms by some of LA’s best pop-ups.

 

4. Vegan Potluck

Sunday, March 3

Enjoy yoga, soothing sound baths, and vegan food at this Marina Del Rey meet up.

 

5. African Vegan

Sunday, March 3

Chef Afai puts her modern, vegan twist on a variety of dishes from several African countries. Reserve a spot at her comfortable Playa Del Rey home for only $72!

 

6. Engine 2 Plant-Strong Tour

Tuesday, March 5

Meet Rip Esselstyn, founder of Engine 2, author of Plant-Strong, and co-star in Forks Over Knives, as he discusses the many benefits of a whole-foods, plant-based diet.

A food festival that doesn’t take place on Sundays? Hallelujah! Thanks to OC Vegan Village, Orange County is getting its very own reoccurring vegan festival, which takes place the second Saturday of every month!

 

8. Vegan Music Shopping

Saturday, March 9

From 11am-5pm, peruse through this free festival of live music, yoga, influential speakers, fresh food, and more.

 

9. Church of Seitan

Sunday, March 17

The Church of Seitan meets at Verdugo Bar in Glassel Park the third Sunday of every month for bingo, vegan-related education, and of course, plant-based food.

 

10. Spring Equinox Faire and Potluck

Sunday, March 17

Celebrate the changing of seasons with meditation, reiki, dancing, and a vegan potluck.

 

11. Vegan Street Fair

Saturday & Sunday, March 23 & 24

Say hello to the world’s largest vegan event! Free entry, blocks upon blocks of hypnotizing smells, vendors from around the states, and not one but two days make 2019’s Vegan Street Fair a festival worth bracing North Hollywood for.

 

12. Inland Empire Vegan Festival

If you feel like you’re always missing out on LA’s constant barrage of vegan events because you live out in Riverside, San Bernardino, or another Inland Empire city, then this festival is your chance to try out the wide array of vegan eats from a couple hours west!

 

13. Taco Tuesday at From the Earth

It’s like Taco Tuesday, but vegan, ya dig? If you’re nearby Santa Ana, show up to liven your weekday night!

 

14. Vegan Nights by OC Vegan Village

Swing by Downtown Santa Ana to grab a bite from one of SoCal’s many plant-based pop-ups

Every Friday Night

Plant-based food trucks & pop-ups serving everything from fried chicken, tortas, and ice cream, take over York Street in Highland Park. Grab a shot of tequila from a nearby bar, follow your nose like Shaggy to the best-smelling vendor, and await your Scooby Snack.

East Hollywood’s first all-vegan grocery store, BESTIES, is bringing attention to the area with their weekly pop-up party, featuring vendors and brands from all around SoCal.

Every Sunday

Authentic plant-based Mexican food by family-owned taqueria El Zamorano is joined by rotating vendors in Santa Ana!

 

18. The Little Green Kitchen Pop-Up

Every Sunday

Nachos, tostadas, tacos, and cheesecake at the Brentwood Farmers market from 9am-2pm!

 

19. Smorgasburg

Every Sunday

This critically acclaimed foodie fest features vendors from some of LA’s best chefs, restaurants, and bakers.
