VegFest LA’s new monthly online vegan event series will feature a variety of plant-based speakers and artists, with a new theme for each live stream. The beloved SoCal vegan festival just announced the launch of Virtual VegFest LA via Instagram and Facebook. Starting this Sunday, July 26th, you’ll be able to tune into an online fest on the last Sunday of each month.

The theme of this month’s live stream is “Support Your Local Vegan Restaurants.” The panel features well-known vegan chefs in LA including Matthew Kenney (of Double Zero, Plant Food + Wine, Hungry Angelina, Folia, Ladurée by MK, New Deli, and Makeout), Ron Russell (of SunCafe), and Sher K and Mark (of AVO Cafe) with Sahar Belle as the host. The Q&A is sandwiched between a morning yoga class led by Andrew Sealy and a musical performance by singer-songwriter SriKala.
This Sunday’s event takes place from 10am-12pm PDT. Visit the VegFest Los Angeles Facebook page for the RSVP link. The live stream is free to the public, but donations are greatly appreciated.
The VegFest team shared, “We have been so overwhelmed by the support and love we received by our loyal festival attendees that we want to do something special for all of you. As our planet shifts, it has become easier to connect with each of you. Let's keep the momentum going and spread a more compassionate lifestyle!”
