Milkadamia—a macadamia nut milk company—just launched its first direct-to-consumer e-commerce website. Cartons of the plant-based milk could be found in stores and some coffee shops, but given the skyrocketing trend of home shopping in 2020 (a 44% spike compared to 2019), Milkadamia decided to give customers what they wanted.

The new shopmilkadamia.com aims to represent a new milkman—the “Milkman 2.0” platform strives to honor the same community feel and customer service as the retro neighborhood delivery service but with a modern twist to incorporate the non-dairy preferences of consumers today.

Unlike other plant-based milk brands, Milkadamia only focuses on one nut—the macadamia. With this base, the company has developed a number of non-dairy products including unsweetened and lightly sweetened milks, creamers, and barista varietals (Latte Da).

CEO Jim Richards stated, “What sets milkadamia apart from the plethora of plant-based milks and creamers is the creamy, slightly decadent taste of our macadamia nut non-dairy products and the rich mouthfeel. Because it blends perfectly with any dish, milkadamia helps create artful, delicious plant-based meals, desserts, smoothies, and lattes.”

Milkadamia nut milks and creamers are now available online in six-pack boxes for $27.
