Vegan-friendly blow dry bar KOVA recently opened in West Hollywood.

Founded by two best friend entrepreneurs, Emma Moquet and Jacob Journo, the salon is inspired by “French elegance with an approachable California vibe.” With a menu of 11 options inspired by icons, services start at $60, or $50 each with their $9/month membership, which also offers exclusive offers and invitations. Their pre-selected options utilize an array of different hairstyles, from sleek and straight to curls, and more, but they each remain customizable to achieve any look.

“I wanted to create a glamorous yet reachable experience that all women deserve,” said co-founder Emma Moquet. “I strive for all women to be empowered by their experience at KOVA and support them in all aspects of their lives while helping them realize their true potential by making them feel their best.”

While not all the products the salon uses are vegan, they offer the choice of David Mallett's No. 1 line, which is not only 100% vegan, but crafted with organic ingredients and free of parabens. The line, created by celebrity hairstylist David Mallet, was formulated to create the perfect bouncy balance of luminosity, density, and elasticity.

Appointments can be made via the salon’s website or by phone, and walk-ins are also welcome.

KOVA is open daily from 7am-9pm and located at 132 South Robertson Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90048.
