Vegan Footwear Brand Beflamboyant Launches ‘90s-Inspired Sneaker Line Made from Corn
This brand is revolutionizing the fashion industry, one sneaker at a time! Beflamboyant just launched a new line of sustainable vegan sneakers that take us back to the ‘90s.
Born out of a couple’s dream to create a positive impact on the fashion industry and the planet, this PETA-approved brand is registered with The Vegan Society and offers unisex vegan sneakers made from recycled and sustainable materials. As the company continues to develop new techniques to reduce its impact on the environment, they’ve teamed up with BCOME, a digital platform that can trace, evaluate, and explain the sustainability performance of retail products. “The study with BCOME has helped Beflamboyant to identify which are the appropriate suppliers and to know the impact we have on the planet, and from here, improve more and more” Jorge, co-founder of Beflamboyant, told VegOut.
In a study conducted in partnership with BCOME, Beflamboyant’s newest line of sneakers—the Street Collection, which are made from sustainable materials like recycled rubber, recycled PET, and corn waste—were found to have cut water use by nearly 50%, and greatly reduced CO2 emissions. Show off your eco-friendly style and embrace your inner ‘90s kid with the new line, which is the perfect complement to your favorite athleisure outfit and comfortable enough for all-day wear. The sneakers come in six colors: vanilla, white, light blue, ivory, navy, and rose.
Visit Beflamboyant.com to shop the new Street Collection, as well as their other lines like the Life Collection, made from recycled cotton.
Note: We recommend referring to the size guide on the website and measuring your foot in centimeters for accurate sizing.
