Watch out Miranda Priestly, move aside Donatella, sit down, Anna Wintour–because Vegan Fashion week is returning to the City of Angels October 10-15th!

Faux fur fashionistas and sustainability queens rejoice! Vegan Fashion Week is back and fiercer than ever this year. Out here to prove that just like Charles Wright, you too can “Express Yourself!” in a way that’s friendly to our mama earth. VFW is doing the absolute most as the leading ethical fashion movement in the world.

Protest against wool, say “down with leather,” and shun brands that STILL use animal skin (SO 1900’s), because this year’s theme is “Fashion is Activism.”

According to Vegan Fashion Week creator and animal rights activist, Emmanuelle Rienda, “The relationship between fashion, factory farming, and climate change cannot be ignored. Vegan sustainable fashion is the ultimate answer to climate change and waste pollution. I created an inclusive and collaborative movement dedicated to redesigning the industry and the consumers’ daily habits.”

There you have it plant loving papas and mamas, it’s time to dust off those pineapple leather boots, and lay out that thrifted pant suit, because the social event of the season is happening in just a couple weeks!

And by all means, do NOT move at a glacial pace to get tickets, because you will NOT be thrilled if you miss this show!
