The Vegan Fusion Culinary Academy will be opening in Boulder, Colorado this summer.
Led by multi-award-winning chef, author, and recent Vegetarian Hall of Fame inductee, Mark Reinfeld, VFCA will train students to effect change starting in the kitchen, learning in a state-of-the-art facility and being led by some of the most famous names in the vegan movement.
The Academy will offer three distinct programs depending on the student’s incoming level—Aspiring Chefs, Culinary Pros, and Home Cooks. The Aspiring Chefs route is a full-time program for aspiring vegan chefs looking to gain professional certification and key skills as future plant-based culinary professionals. The Culinary Pros program features vegan culinary courses aimed at those who are already culinary professionals, but are looking to educate themselves on plant-based cuisine, knowledge, and skills. And the Home Cooks program will provide informative workshops and classes to anyone interested in expanding their vegan cooking skills.
The goal of the Academy with having multiple paths available is to benefit a wide range of chefs, expanding the cruelty-free culinary practices from the professional level to home chefs and everything in between.
