Van Leeuwen Debuts Limited-Time Endless Summer Vegan Flavors
Van Leeuwen—a vegan-friendly, bi-coastal ice cream chain—recently debuted two new flavors to celebrate the “Endless Summer.” While pints are available in grocers nationwide, these extremely limited-time flavors will only be available in the company’s New York and Los Angeles scoop shops. Until September 22, customers can find Vegan Oat Milk German Chocolate Layer Cake and Vegan Passionfruit Strawberry Pavlova in stores.

The German Chocolate Layer Cake is an oat-based chocolate ice cream studded with chocolate cake and swirled with pecan coconut frosting and kirsch cherry compote. On the fruitier side, the Passionfruit Strawberry Pavlova flavor is made with a vanilla meringue ice cream, gobs of passionfruit jam, a roasted strawberry swirl, and generous bits of vegan honeycomb candy.
Vegan-friendly toppings include hot fudge, nuts, chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, vegan whipped cream, peanut brittle dust, and full-sized chocolate chip cookies (which can also serve as an ice cream vessel in lieu of a cup).
