Tofurky will debut a new line of products this summer under their sub-brand Moocho, featuring dairy-free alternatives such as cheesecake, cream cheese, and vegan cheese shreds.

Known for their plant-based deli meats, holiday roasts, and more, the company introduced their single-serve cheesecakes in 2019 under the Tofurky name, with the intent of transitioning Moocho to a stand-alone brand. These rebranding efforts aim to build a new customer base independent from the tried-and-true consumers that have historically purchased Tofurky products. The new dairy-free cheese (mozzarella, cheddar, and fiesta blend) will be available in 8-ounce bags and crafted from fava bean protein, coconut oil, and fermented cultures (for that cheesy flavor). Additionally, Tofurky introduces three vegan cream cheese flavors (garden veggie, strawberry, and plain) made from fava bean protein, soy milk, and coconut oil, all available in 8-ounce tubs. In efforts to differentiate the new Moocho product line from Tofurky, the company will utilize updated pastel packaging.
