The 2020 Starts Now! Conference is Happening This Sunday
The 2020 Starts Now! conference—a non-profit community building event for entrepreneurs in Los Angeles—is happening this Sunday, October 27. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and money for the Unatti Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive programs for girls in Nepal living in vulnerable situations. The conference and organization together have the goal of supporting women in gaining independence through education, mentorship and connection.
All proceeds from the event will go to Unatti Foundation’s initiatives that support young girls and women to thrive through independence, simultaneously serving women in both Los Angeles and Nepal.
The conference day’s agenda starts off with yoga and sound healing in the morning, followed by opening remarks and a keynote speaker, then two speaker series (during which guests will have three speakers to choose from per series, including a Plant-Based Prosperity Panel) after lunch. The speaker series will equip guests with tools to help balance their personal and professional lives, raise money for their company, and learn about building a brand and attracting clients.
The Plant-Based Prosperity Panel will feature VegOut LA founder & CEO, Maggie Ortlieb, as well as SoCal VegFest’s Maryam Arjuna, plant-based dietician Amanda Sevilla, and yoga teacher/artist/influencer Andrew Sealey as panelists. Alexys Calhoun, the owner of Events By Alexys, will be moderating the panel.
Lunch for the conference will be 100% vegan and catered by Tara’s Himalayan.
2020 Starts Now! is happening Sunday, October 27 at Expert Dojo in Santa Monica.
