Support + Feed is now serving the Philadelphia community! After a successful launch in Los Angeles and New York, the Support + Feed team is joining forces with HipCityVeg and other Philly-based vegan spots to help feed needy populations in the community.
Maggie Baird shared, "We are so happy to bring Support and Feed to Philadelphia, and to partner with the wonderful work Nicole Marquis at HipCityVeg has already begun there. We see the incredible need around the country and hope so much that we can help feed those in need and keep these important plant-based businesses, which are so important to the health of our planet, alive."
When you order from one of the participating restaurants, you can add a donation to the Support + Feed initiative. The money that’s donated to each restaurant is used to make nourishing plant-based meals that are then delivered to designated donation centers. The meals are delivered by HipCityVeg’s catering team as well as a delivery truck and driver that was donated by Legendary Logistics.
"Philadelphia's most vulnerable residents are devastated right now. We are grateful to have such a powerful mission-driven group to partner with to tackle this crisis,” said Nicole Marquis, founder and CEO of HipCityVeg. Maggie Baird and her organization is an inspiration and a lifeline to our city."
