Starbucks Is Now Testing a Vegan Breakfast Sandwich

Starbucks has begun selling the new Plant Powered Breakfast Sandwich at a location in Issaquah, WA. The sandwich is made with a mung bean-based egg, a plant-based patty, and dairy-free cheese on an English muffin (retails at $5.45). Starbucks also partnered with Impossible Foods back in June for a nationwide release of the Impossible Breakfast Sandwich, which is made with the plant-based Impossible patty, however is not fully vegan as the sandwich is made with egg and dairy products.
