Peaceful Provisions is a women-owned, vegan pastry shop that has been specializing in small-batch, scratch-made doughnuts since 2015. This spring, Peaceful Provisions will open a storefront in the Hudson Valley. While doughnuts will be the star of the menu, the shop will also offer a variety of baked goods such as cinnamon buns, muffins, scones, and stuffed cookies, as well as a small savory menu of soups, salads, sandwiches, and more!

“We want our store to be a collaborative space where we can work with other vegan businesses (especially pop-ups). We are one and understand the struggle to survive and grow. We plan to be a preorder pickup spot for other local vegan businesses that are starting out or need help growing. You'll be able to order through them and pick up at our store. In addition, we'll have collaborative doughnut flavors on our menu highlighting vegan products and businesses throughout the year,” Brittany Soto, co-owner of Peaceful Provisions, told VegOut.
In addition to sweet and savory items, the new storefront will also have a small marketplace within the shop where guests can purchase vegan products from local businesses such as artisanal cheeses, meat alternatives, snacks, condiments, and groceries.
Peaceful Provisions has set up a fundraiser page on their website, where items like doughnut vouchers, stickers, and tote bags will be available for purchase to raise funds for the shop.
