Original Herbivore Now Delivers Vegan Deli Meat Across Los Angeles
You can now get vegan deli meat delivered straight to your door from Original Herbivore! But that’s not all, this all-vegan food truck also announced plans to open a brick-and-mortar location in Sherman Oaks by the summer. We’re here to give you the lowdown on it all!
Original Herbivore is a LA-based food truck that got started back in 2017. They became well known for mastering dishes you would never think could be made vegan! From fish & chips and fried chicken to Reuben sandwiches and Italian sausages, the flavors and textures of their items are otherworldly. And you know what’s even better? They make their plant-based meats from scratch!
There's nothing LA vegans love more than mind-blowing meals like buckets of vegan fried chicken and house-made seitan pastrami! The high demand for their crave-worthy meals led them to expand to a brick-and-mortar in Sherman Oaks in the next few months! But the exciting news doesn’t stop there! Until their new spot opens, Original Herbivore will be delivering their house-made vegan deli meats to plant-loving Angelenos.
Original Herbivore’s delivery service couldn’t be announced at a better time! Because of the devastating COVID-19 pandemic, we’re all cooped up in our homes (or tiny studio apartments) and unable to go to our favorite food festivals! And if you’re one of those vegans who religiously goes to Vegan Exchange with tupperware containers to “meal prep,” you might feel even more devastated! There’s no more food truck meal prepping, grocery stores are running low on items, and you’re hungry. So what do you do? Order delicious made-from-scratch vegan meat from this plant-based hotspot!
Their delivery range covers Los Angeles county, with plans to ship in the near future. Choose from Corned “Beef”, Salami, Bologna, and Plain or Jerk-flavored Chick’n Shreds. Plus, their famous Fried Chick’n! Once you take your pick and place your order, Original Herbivore will contact you within a day to schedule the delivery window. The minimum to order is $40 with a $5 delivery fee. If you place an order that's $80 or more, you’ll get free delivery! Visit originalherbivore.com to place your order.
