Orgain Launches New Organic Vegan Sports Powders
Orgain—the well-established producer of a number of vegan-friendly nutrition supplements—has just launched a new line of plant-based protein powders made with sports performance in mind. The three new products include Organic Sport Protein Powder, Organic Sport Energy Powder, and Organic Sport Recovery Powder. All three promise high-quality, food-based ingredients such as tart cherry powder, fermented turmeric and ginger, beets, and apple cider vinegar to decrease inflammation and optimize performance. Each supplement also includes vitamin C and an array of adaptogens to increase energy and stimulate speedy recovery. The line was made for all levels of fitness—from those who live an active lifestyle to elite athletes.
Professional and amateur athletes alike have increasingly turned to a vegan diet to improve their performance, speed up their recovery, and ensure longevity within their sport. These products claim to enhance the nutritional benefits of plant-based foods by providing exactly what the body needs to repair and perform in a convenient, mix-with-water-and-go package.
These new sport-specific powders include the expansive Orgain line of vegan-friendly products including flavored protein powders, shakes, and bars. They are now available in Whole Foods and are set to roll out to Sprouts nationwide in July.
