All-vegan deli and grocery store Orchard Grocer has been open for grocery delivery since mid-March, and has now reopened their deli counter service. The eatery has added new items to the sandwich menu, including The Francis (a take on the classic Cubano made with vegan ham, half sour Brooklyn Brine pickles, cheese, Dijon mustard, and mayo), The Poppy (house-made chickpea tuna salad, tomato, and mixed greens on Roberta’s marbled rye), The Monty (vegan mortadella, provolone cheese, roasted peppers, olives, pepperoncini, green tomato, and onion on Parisi’s Italian hero bread), as well as daily specials like a Macaroni and Cheese Pizza Sandwich (with house-made cashew-based mac, vegan pepperoni, vegan mozzarella, and tomato sauce on ciabatta bread) and a Fried Tofu Chicken Sandwich (with avocado, pepperoncini, roasted red peppers, and Alabama white BBQ sauce).

In addition to the new menu, Orchard Grocer has launched a new type of vegan soft serve, which can be ordered in a cup or a vegan cone. Their cashew milk and olive oil ice cream recipe is available in rotating flavors (currently Strawberry and Vanilla). The deli is also selling a selection of house-baked cookies, as well as donuts from Peaceful Provisions bakery (on Sundays only) in a variety of flavors, such as Strawberry with Passion Fruit Tea, Banana Coffee with Pecans, Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Sugar, and Brownie Truffle Filled!
