NYC’s Vegan Lekka Burger Now Delivers Nationwide
Whether you live in the Midwest or all the way on the West Coast, you can now get NYC’s Lekka Burger delivered straight to your door!
New York City-based vegan restaurant Lekka Burger is now offering DIY plant-based burger kits through the online marketplace Goldbelly. The kits are available for nationwide delivery and priced at $79 for 4 servings and $119 for 8 servings. Each comes with Lekka’s vegan, soy-free, and gluten-free burger patties (made with portobello mushrooms, cannellini beans, fennel, and onion), buns, fries, pickles, “cheese” sauce, Vegenaise, choice of Peri Peri (spicy and garlicky South African chile sauce) or BBQ sauce, and chocolate chip cookies.
Lekka Burger was founded in 2019 by Amanda Cohen (owner of NYC’s vegetarian restaurant Dirt Candy), and South-African born humanitarian Andrea Kerzner. Like many other restaurants in the area, the Tribeca-based eatery has faced difficulties staying open during current events, and only recently was able to open its doors for takeout and delivery in the beginning of June. Now, with the launch of nationwide shipping, everyone across the country can enjoy the plant-based goodness of Lekka Burger.
“With people looking for plant-based alternatives that are better for their own health and the environment, we saw a unique opportunity to bring Lekka Burger to a much larger audience all over the country. We are so excited to be able to ship nationwide!” Kerzner told VegOut.
Lekka Burger’s meal kits can be purchased online at Goldbelly.com.
