Nonprofit Our Own Delivers Weekly Vegan Meals to the Hungry in Los Angeles

Local Los Angeles nonprofit, “Our Own,” provides vegan meals to the area’s hungry. The organization, which aims to increase access to resources for improved mental, physical, and emotional health for the underserved, feeds over 100 families in Los Angeles and surrounding communities each Saturday. To date, the group has distributed plant-based meals to thousands of individuals in addition to donating over 10,000 PPEs to hospitals, clinics, assisted living homes, and more.

Through their Relief Fund, Our Own supplies those in need with fresh produce, grains, and spices, supporting the health of those at risk during this difficult time.
