New Vegan Pop-Up Bringing Meatless Mondays to San Antonio, TX
Emerging as one of San Antonio’s favorite vegan foodie pop-ups, Vegan and Sara will take over the kitchen at The Good Kind every Monday in San Antonio.
One of the fastest-growing vegan-friendly cities in America will now host a weekly vegan pop-up, Vegan and Sara! Nom away those Monday blues every Monday from noon-9pm at The Good Kind in the Southtown neighborhood of San Antonio as Stephanie Lopez brings her comfort food creations under new business, Vegan and Sara—lovingly named after the indie-pop duo, Tegan and Sara.
Available to-go or in the spacious outdoor garden, the offerings are tracklist-inspired with menu titles such as “Walking With A Ghost” (mushroom-based bánh mì with ghost pepper oil on bolillo), “Back In Your Head” (Southern-style country-fried cauliflower steak and mashed potatoes on Texas toast), and “The Con” (spicy plant-based chicken with sweet pepper slaw and serrano aioli).
The pop-up runs every Monday at The Good Kind (1127 S St Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78210) from noon-9pm. For more information on Vegan and Sara and the weekly pop-up, check out @veganandsara14 and @goodkindsouthtown on Instagram.
