To catch you up to speed, Bodhi Bowl was an all-vegan restaurant in the heart of Downtown LA that served up delectable health-forward bowls, wraps, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, and more. Owner Allison Cruddas made the difficult decision to close Bodhi Bowl this July due to the struggles of owning a restaurant in the downtown area during the shutdown. When we interviewed Cruddas about the closure, she told us, “Providing healthy vegan food and making people happy is my mission in life, so I will definitely be doing something very soon!” And she wasn’t joking when she said “soon!”
Fruition Organic Market is a new vegan cafe and market in Manhattan Beach opened this month by Cruddas. The menu features fresh and flavorful meals, similar to those offered at Bodhi Bowl. There’s also a grab-and-go section where you can pick up a plethora of deli sandwiches, salads, soups, chili, and sauces for later. Additionally, you’ll be able to browse the shelves of the market section for vegan snacks and pantry staples. And it’s near the beach––what could be better than that?
This new vegan gem is located at 350 N Sepulveda Blvd in Manhattan Beach. They’re open from 8am-6pm daily. For more information, visit fruitionorganicmarket.com or follow @fruitionorganic on Instagram.
