Plant-based brand Eat Howl just launched Mac & Chef—a shelf-stable, dairy-free mac ‘n’ cheese made with cashews—nationwide at Whole Foods Market. The new mac is also available online at veganessentials.com and on Howl’s website.

Howl uses cashew cheese and no chemical preservatives to make Mac & Chef—containing real cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, and garlic. “Howl is driven by one fundamental philosophy,” says co-founder and renowned chef, Craig Thornton, “to put out better, more sustainable food using only quality and real ingredients the same way we would in a restaurant.” Mac & Chef offers nutritional improvements per serving such as less total fat, lower saturated fats, and more protein. Mac & Chef is currently available in two flavors: Classic Cashew (with a sharp cheddar style tang) and Spicy Chipotle (with a kick of real chipotle peppers!).
